Research Statement

My work focuses on computer programming and image processing and analysis. I have developed functions to perform statistical image analysis for functional magnetic resonance images. These functions calculate statistics such as t-tests, correlation maps, Z-scores, averages, standard deviations, cross-correlation, and others. I also am involved in website and database development for our lab.

I am also working on the merge of functional and structural MR data, such as limiting functional analysis to certain tissue types as classified by structural imaging tools and the use of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) to supplement fMRI.
