Recently published by Sinauer Associates, the new textbook on Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging by BIAC faculty provides a comprehensive yet accessible overview to all aspects of fMRI. Targeted for both students and researchers new to the field, the book describes the underlying physics and physiology of fMRI, key techniques for experimental design and analysis, and new discoveries and imaging methods. It includes a number of pedagogical features including copious illustrations, a marginal glossary, annotated reading lists, and many discussions of key topics within boxes. Complementing the text are a large number of data sets and exercises that will allow any student, regardless of whether their institution has a MR scanner, to learn the basics of fMRI data analysis.
