For those of you with undergrads working in your lab:
Neurogenesis: Duke’s Journal of Undergraduate Neuroscience is currently accepting submissions for its upcoming issue! Neurogenesis provides an interdisciplinary forum for undergraduates passionate about Neuroscience research to publish their work and make it accessible to an extended, university-wide audience. Submitting to a journal gives undergraduate researchers an insight into the peer review process that is vital to modern scientific investigation. Not to mention, getting published looks great on a resume and establishes your expertise in an area of research! You can use work you have already completed, including past independent study papers and class papers. Types of accepted submissions include: · Original research · Review articles · Interviews · Opinions Interested in submitting, but don’t know where to start? You can meet up with one of our editors for a brainstorming session – just send us an email expressing your interest. The deadline for submission is March 5.
